As the November 16, 2024, election approaches, Inspector-General of Police Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun assures the public of the Nigeria Police Force’s readiness to ensure a smooth and secure electoral process.

Comprehensive plans are in place, including strategic deployment of personnel, resources, and equipment.

Specialized units will work with other security agencies to guarantee fairness, transparency, and order. Aerial patrols and gunboat deployments will cover all terrains.
