The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) FCT Council has marked the 2025 International Day to End Impunity for Crimes Against Journalists, calling on the government and security agencies to ensure the safety and protection of journalists in Nigeria. The Council condemned the rising cases of attacks, intimidation, and violence against journalists, describing them as an assault on democracy and freedom of expression.
