The Kaduna State Police Command has addressed a disturbing incident involving Hadaina Hussaini, also known as Dan-taki, who made threatening comments on a Facebook post. The post, which has gone viral, claimed that a Kaduna police officer was threatening retaliation against southerners over the Uromi killings.

In a statement, the police command clarified that Hussaini is neither a member of the Nigeria Police Force nor a personnel of the Kaduna State Police Command. It was discovered that Hussaini had previously been part of the Police Special Constabulary attached to the Kaduna State Constabulary Office but was dismissed two years ago due to questionable character.

The police command has arrested Hussaini, and he will face charges in court once preliminary investigations are completed. The command reassured the public that the Nigeria Police Force is committed to upholding law and order and will not tolerate incitement, hate speech, or threats to peace and harmony.

Commissioner of Police, CP Rabi’u Muhammad, has called on the public to remain calm and report any suspicious incidents to the police. The command urges citizens to be aware of the identity card attached to the uniform, which contains the word ‘PSC/KD’, meaning Police Special Constabulary, to avoid being misled by impersonators.
